Question by : Which cosplay should I put on to an anime convention?
I am attending an anime convention in Could (Animazement in Raleigh, NC), and I cannot make a decision which characters to cosplay as! I can only select two of them…I cannot afford a lot more than that. Beside each and every of the pictures I have the value that every cosplay will price. Some of the outfits I already have pieces to, so they are lower :)

Rikku – Final Fantasy X2: $ 150 (about $ 250 with weapons)

Kikyo – InuYasha ($ 75)

Sesshomaru – InuYasha ($ 130)

The most widespread 1 that would seem in anime conventions would be Hatsune Miku.
If you don’t want to be the very same as others, I recommend you go as Chii or Kikyo.

I think you should go as Chi! Its a really cute cosplay and trust me you won’t see many chi cosplayers at a con. You’ll be able to stand out and be unique compared to the other people there.

    I hope I helped <3

I’d say that Kikyo or Chii would be cute. I would do Rikku only if you really really wanted to do her, you’d just have to be willing to pay that sum of money :S
Deff not the Nurse just because of popularity. & not Sesshomaru because I’d only do it if your body really fit him. Like if you’re actually pretty tall then go for it. Just not if you’re below like 5’6 ish… (That’s just me)

Rikku is good but i think shes only complete with her weapons and you can make them easily with this tutorial http://www.amethyst-angel.com/cb/thiefdaggers_rikku.html

Kikyo is pretty simple and if your lucky you should be able to find/make a costume for cheap.

sesshomaru i would reccomend because it stands out a bit more and is really cool looking x3

chii is a bit overdone OTL and usually unless you have a REALLY good costume you wont be able to stand out.

miku love ward can be found for rather cheap from bodyline http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct2.asp?id=6383&pageNumber=1&pageStop=stop_4&noSubType=N

for money you could probably do kikyo, chii and miku for the price of rikku.

i say rikku though shes my fave <3

    NOT Chii. It’s seriously overdone.

Anyway… I’d personally recommend the Inuyasha cosplays and Miku. Inuyasha isn’t cosplayed very much anymore, but still has a cult following. The characters are also highly recognizable even by people who’ve never seen the show. Miku is usually overdone. However, you have an alternate outfit, making it more unique. This will mean that you’ll probably be the only one with that specific cosplay, but you’ll still be recognized because it’s Miku.
