A buddy and I have been preparing to do costumes together for awhile, and one of the most significant ones we’ve wanted to do is Princess Zelda and Link from The Legend of Zelda series. We’ve decided on duct-tape as a medium, and the dress for Zelda is in fact finished already.

The issue is, we’re trying to figure out if it’s worthwhile to do them out of duct-tape, and likely increase upon them for our major anime con next year.

my character im cosplaying for is rin kagamine, a vocaloid. ive broken the generating of the costume into segments but it still appears humongous. im new to creating cosplay and just cosplaying in general. i dont know how to sew but my grandma does i was thinking she may support me. but what overwhelms me is exactly where do i get the fabric? joannes or micheals appropriate? but what kind? can i improvise? i have NO clue when it comes to rin’s arm sleeves and leg warmers though, thats largely exactly where im stuck. assist?!

Attempt Lady Death, AH! My Goddess, and Ghost in the Shell. Those three are pretty fighting intensive, and have some off the wall costumes. Another good a single is a movie, rather than a series, called “Howl’s Magic Castle’ I feel that’s the name anyway, saw it a couple years ago, and it was fairly great.

Ok nicely I am going to anime north next year, and I can not feel of what to cosplay. I want it to be really memorable specifically for a con like anime north. A single of my costumes is going to be flounder from the small mermaid, since my buddy is going to be Ariel. But that is not my primary costume. I want my main costume to be some thing that individuals would rush to take a picture of, something that folks get excited about. I was GlaDos last year at a diverse con and I got so significantly positive feedback (it helped that portal 2 was coming out a month later). But so several men and women asked for a picture and it was so wonderful…I want that to happen again.

I was thinking of carrying out a large sister from Bioshock two but I do not feel I have the skill for that. This would be my 3rd anime convention (and second year of cosplaying). I am a 15 year old girl by the way.

What are some complex (not as challenging as a big sister) cosplays I could do for subsequent year?
