Sorry I posted this question twice…Im a little particular.
I have a brief black wig (Used for L cosplay) and I want to use for Yet another cosplay (so I don’t have to buy a new one) but the bottom has curled alot and I need to straighten it. Heres the wig:

but then I heard that if you had a straightener put on the lowest settings, then you could use that..

This is a extremely straightforward 1…mine lasts for months.
If you are washing it only swirl it in a little water with synthetic hair shampoo. Do not brush it till it is dry (or semi dry). Spray with detangler while blow drying.
To straighten it without washing, put a little hair oil or olive oil on the wig and use the hair dryer far enough as not to singe.
Another truly old technique (girls did this in the 19th century) is to put a wig among two folded towels and use a warm clothes iron.
